We reserve the right to modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this Website with or without notice to you and you by continuing to access the Website confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website.
We reserve the right to change the conditions from time to time and your continued use of the Website following such a change will be deemed to be your acceptance of such a change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to see if the terms and conditions have been changed.
We will endeavour to fulfil all orders placed however there may be instances beyond our control where this may not happen and in these circumstances we will do all that is possible to resolve the issue. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the quantity of product ordered is sufficient material for your requirements as it is not always possible to order more tiles from the same batch. We therefore recommend that you order an additional 10% of tiles required for cuts and wastage. Your order will be based upon our product prices and delivery charges in force at the time you submit your order inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate. If the prices or charges are different from those published this will brought to your attention before we accept your order and will give you the option to cancel your order before we accept it.
Please note acceptance of any order is at our discretion.
When you use our Website and we offer recommendations under “Works With”, these are suggestions that you may wish to consider and do not constitute advice. You should not rely on “Works With” when making any product selection.
We recommend that you buy samples before committing to an order so as to allow you to make a proper assessment of the product in the environment it is to be used in. It is important to remember that there will be a shade and calibration variations from batch to batch. Please ensure that you are happy with your product as we will not accept any claims once the product has been fixed.
Prices and Delivery Charges
Prices where displayed are in pounds sterling and are inclusive of any excise duties and VAT. They do not include the cost of delivery. These prices are subject to alteration without prior notification. Delivery charges quoted are based on the weight of goods being delivered and the distance covered.
Orders will be delivered in a single consignment. Please note that multiple or failed deliveries will incur an additional charges. Goods are delivered on pallets and we offer a kerbside delivery. It is your responsibility to ensure that there is adequate labour on site to off-load the goods. Orders are delivered by 3rd party couriers. Due to insurance and health and safety regulations we are unable to transport any goods into a property. Reed Harris must be made aware of any specific delivery requirements at the time of order. All goods must be checked and signed for at the time of delivery to ensure that the order is correct. You must inform us within 3 working days of any shortfall or damage. Delivery charges are non-refundable unless returning damaged or faulty products.
We reserve the right to deliver the goods in installments.
Payment can be made by most major debit and credit cards, or bank transfer. Payments are credit checked and final payment authorisation given, via Sage pay. We cannot take any responsibility for the non-authorisation of on-line payments for whatever reason or for any subsequent delay in delivery as a result of additional credit checks. Full payment is required at the time of order.
Cancellation and Returns
If you change your mind about your purchase, we offer a 14 day no-quibble returns policy. We can only accept returns for your entire order and all boxes must be unopened and in a saleable condition when they reach our warehouse. Please confirm in writing your intention to return goods to us via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org . It is your responsibility to return the goods in a saleable condition therefore they must be suitably packed and returned using a reputable haulage company. The cost of the return will be at your own expense and risk and we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage during transit. If you have trouble arranging the return we can pass on the details of our haulage company. Once the goods have been inspected and accepted by our warehouse team we will issue a refund.
Bespoke orders cannot be cancelled or returned.
Breakages and Shortages
No claims for damage or shortage will be accepted unless notified in writing within 3 working days of delivery and the original shipment was correctly signed for at the time of delivery.
Batch and Calibre Variation
All tiles are subject to some variation in shade and calibre between batches. Whilst we never supply you with mixed batches in a single order, we cannot guarantee the availability of the same batch in any subsequent order.
We recommend that you to buy tiles, borders and decors from the same range, as in some cases the tiles may be sourced from different suppliers which may result in a slight variation in size/colour.
Installation of Tiles
We advise that you do not schedule any installation work until you have received your order in full. This will enable you to resolve any technical questions which might arise or allow you to order specific additional fittings if necessary. Reed Harris cannot be held responsible for any third party costs incurred due to installation delays.
Please ensure that you check your tiles before fixing. Tiles from different boxes should be mixed prior to fitting. No claims will be accepted once the goods have been fixed.
No claims will be accepted due to the late arrival of goods. Customers are advised to wait for their tiles to arrive and are carefully checked before engaging the service of a tiler. The company will accept no claims for wasted labour.
Description of goods
All images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our website are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. All specifications given to the Customer are approximate and intended as a guide only. We always endeavour to ensure all product descriptions are correct, but advise customers to seek technical advice from qualified sources prior to ordering products and any work to be carried out.
