Pool edges are the finishing detail that can make all the difference to a successful project. We can take any tile, either cut to size by us or full original sized tiles and apply different styles of edge polishing and shaping. This eliminates the need for tile trim and gives a more luxurious finish to the tile edges.
Beyond this, some of our tile ranges include drain channel covers. These offer a cohesive look to the pool deck without compromising function.
Flat Edge
Flat polished side with a micro bevel to the top and bottom edge
Bevelled Edge
Flat polished side with a micro bevel to the bottom edge and your choice of bevel size on the top
Pencil Round Edge
Pencil round edge has a small radius to the top edge leading into a flat polished side
Half Bullnose
Half bullnose edge has a radius half the thickness of the tile on the top edge leading into a flat polished side
Full Bullnose
Full bullnose edge has a radius half the thickness of the tile on the top and bottom edges
Mitred Edge
Mitred edge is simply cut at 45 degrees for your tiler to assemble on site. Micro bevel applied to the leading edge.
Mitred and Glued Edge
Mitred and glued edge (up to 70mm). Two components cut to 45 degrees and glued together with a colour matched UV resistant epoxy resin. Suitable for both indoor & outdoor use, it creates the look of a much thicker slab. A 1mm thick stainless teel support is applied to the underside for extra strength.
Large Mitred and Glued Edge
Mitred and glued edge (over 70mm). Two components cut to 45 degrees and glued together with a colour matched UV resistant epoxy resin. Ideal for steptread and riser combination to create the effect of a solid block. A 2mm thick stainless steel support is applied to the underside for extra strength.
Mitred LL Edge
Mitred LL edge profile. Two components cut to 45 degrees and glued together with a colour matched UV resistant epoxy resin. An additional strip glued behind the leading edge. A 1mm thick stainless teel support is applied to the underside for extra strength. Ideal for creating a deeper overhang for a shadow gap or if LED lighting is to be installed behind.
Mitred Edge With Underside Return
Mitred edge with underside return. Components are cut and assembled with colour matched UV resistant epoxy resin. This assembly creates a substantial looking edge where a deeper overhang is required. The assembled pieces are backfilled with epoxy tile adhesive for additional support.
