Description
Segments Dove is a contemporary collection of tiles with hidden depths. This series is all about linear texture and repetition with all three tiles options sharing this idea. A bold ridge feature runs across the centre of the small size tiles and is two thirds off centre on the larger format. As a result these ridges cast shadow and catch light to give the wall a graphic effect with light and texture. The two small size tiles differ in the frequency of linear grooves across the face. Small Plus has deep linear grooves lined up side by side across its length. By comparison Small is flat with only the central ridge for detail. The larger size is not modular with the small format and acts more like a textural field than point of focus. The hidden joy of this range is the way it interacts with coloured grout. Because the Small Plus tile is grooved it makes a striped look that is easily made unique with the choice of grout colour.
